The founder of Joining Technologies, Michael Francoeur, began the business with three things: A vision. A machine. And a garage. Francoeur’s entrepreneurial dream envisioned a widely respected, well-organized, and ultramodern workplace where individuals are motivated to learn and grow professionally. He first opened for business in 1992 as a provider of electron beam welding services. What began as a dream has grown into a thriving reality. Now, in addition to precision laser welding, electron beam welding and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) technology, Joining Technologies’ specialties include machining services and supply chain management. True to our roots, we continue to innovate to better serve our employees, our customers, and the community around us. On the tour, guests will have the opportunity to see our various workstations for hands-on services like laser welding, laser cladding, and machining as well as our areas for quality control and administration.
