On August 4, 2018 Jesse Carey, daughter of long time Bobby V's bartender Lisa Grady, suffered a broken neck, contusions on her C2 & C3 vertebrae, also fracturing her T-2 vertebrae, sustained while in a pool. Currently Jesse is at Gaylord Rehabilitation Center in Wallingford where they specialize in spinal cord injuries & she's getting stronger every day. Jesse's left side is currently at 75% & the right side of her body is slowly waking up - they're seeing great things every day! Jesse will most likely be out of work for the next year, due to ongoing physical therapy that will be needed even beyond her discharge from Gaylord.
