Granby, CT—Connecticut’s Granby Chamber of Commerce and our sponsors are proud to announce our annual Celebrate Granby event is to take place September 19, 20 & 21, 2019. This event will be held at Salmon Brook Park in Granby, CT. This year’s celebration promises to be a weekend extravaganza. We have added a Thursday Teen night with many activities for teens from all local towns, food trucks, live music performed by Conscious Club and the Marquis of Granby. The Marquis is among 120 ancient corps registered with the Company of Fifers and Drummers, and one of only 15 corps nationwide with an all youth membership. Our weekend long carnival opens Thursday night. Friday enjoy food created by many local restaurants and food trucks and our beer/wine garden with live music performed by the Johnny Larsen Band with Carolyn Rae in our band shell at Salmon Brook Park. Of course the Carnival will be in full swing as well. Saturday the event begins with a local business expo noon to 5pm. There will be live music in the band shell performed by Smooth Whatever & Acoustic Valhalla, local restaurants & food trucks, beer & wine garden, pony rides and of course the carnival. The evening culminates with a special firework display to close our celebration. “Each year Granby’s Chamber of Commerce works hard to create Celebrate Granby for our community. This year we have expanded to Thursday Night for Teens! This is a major fundraising event to help our chamber provide scholarships, increase awareness of Granby’s great local business and create camaraderie with our community. We are all looking forward to the excitement and fellowship this event creates for all of us under the Granby Notch” Don’t miss out! There will be more information and updates from the Chamber as the event nears.
